I'm an Indonesian industrial designer specializing in Color, Material, and Finish — the part of design that determines how a product actually feels in your hands, reads on a shelf, and holds up over time.
My career has taken me through some of the world's most demanding design environments like Lenovo, Huawei, Lynk & Co, and Jabra, working across Singapore, China, Sweden, and Denmark. That journey was not only broad in geography but also deeply shaped by culture.
Growing up in an Asian work culture meant learning to execute with precision and speed within structures where decisions came from the top, and your job was to deliver. Moving to Scandinavia changed that completely. Suddenly, I was expected to question briefs, challenge assumptions, and stand up for my ideas. That shift didn’t come easily. But working through that tension—learning to combine speed and rigor while holding my ground in discussions—is probably the most valuable skill I’ve developed. It has shaped how I collaborate, present, and help teams move from uncertainty to clarity.
